Shelton praises 'Voice' winner as the 'most important artist' ever on show..

Danielle Bradbery has been crowned the winner of "The Voice," marking her coach Blake Shelton's third victory in a row. Shelton called Bradbery "the most important artist to ever walk across 'The Voice' stage."
At just 16 years old, she is the youngest contestant to ever win the series. The country singer from Cypress, Texas, landed a record deal with Universal Musical Group and $100,000. The victory was especially sweet for her coach Shelton, who not only celebrated his 37th birthday on Tuesday, but with Bradbery's win, it marked a three-peat for the singer, who has also led the past two champions, Jermaine Paul and Cassadee Pope, to victory.

Shelton told Entertainment Weekly, "Even to take myself out of the equation -- Danielle Bradbery, and I've said this on the show, I think might be the most important artist to ever walk across 'The Voice' stage because we've seen some artists come and go who've had record deals before, who have done some things before. Danielle Bradbery may be the first person we've actually discovered here on this show."
Just before host Carson Daly named her the winner, Bradbery praised Shelton for his guidance throughout the competition, and attested, "You're an amazing coach and you're amazing person. You've taught me so much and I'm so thankful to have you in my life now. I love you, coach."

Bradbery was a frontrunner since the beginning of the season, and has had the most peak positions on the iTunes charts with her singles released from the show. She also has the most singles to reach the top 10 on iTunes, with an impressive five tracks on the charts.
Coming in at third place were Shelton's other team members, The Swon Brothers, with Michelle Chamuel from Team Usher coming in as the runner-up. "The Voice" returns this fall with its original lineup -- Aguilera and Cee Lo Green will return to their red chairs, alongside Shelton and Adam Levine.
